Everglades National Park Pass
To our valued sailing guests,
We would like to bring your attention to some important updates regarding entry into Everglades National Park. As of recently, the U.S. National Park Service has introduced an entry fee for all mariners traveling through the waters of the park. This means that if you intend to sail into the park, you will be required to pay this fee.
To ensure compliance with the National Park Service regulations, all sailors must first take and pass a test before being allowed to enter the park. The test is free of charge and can be taken online at https://provalenslearning.com/everglades-boater-education-course. Passing this test is a prerequisite for obtaining a park pass.
After passing the test, you can purchase the park pass online at https://yourpassnow.com/r1s/site/74278. The cost for a seven-day pass is $30, and it is mandatory for all sailors to carry the electronic or paper pass with them at all times while in the park. You will also be required to present a valid government-issued ID along with your park pass. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a fine.
We highly recommend that you obtain a park pass, as it will allow you to enjoy all the exciting float plans that Everglades National Park has to offer. These include experiences such as the Nest Key mud bath, the Mangrove Jungle Tour, snorkeling around the sunken sailboat, sailing around Porjoe Key, and many more.
We hope that this information helps you prepare for your upcoming sailing trip to Everglades National Park. Thank you for choosing us as your hosts, and we look forward to providing you with a memorable experience.
