Incredibly reasonable! Rates include all of the water toys listed above and sailboats for qualified sailors.

Features:

All cottages have air conditioning. Other features vary depending on the cottage. The following are available: king bed, queen bed, twin bed, sofa bed, pack and play, patio, outdoor shower, and bay view.
 
NOTE: We do not provide toiletries. Make sure to bring them with you or you can purchase them at any local drug or grocery store.
 

Appliances:

Select cottages have a blender, toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, microwave, refrigerator, stove (some with ovens), cable TV, ceiling fans, gas grill, ice maker.
 
Our rates vary by season, so call or email us for information.
 
Plan ahead! Prime dates are reserved early by returning guests who KNOW what a great deal we offer!

Rates: 5 Nights Minimum Rental

However, we sometimes have shorter stays available for 3 to 4 nights, if right before or after other reservations.

Rate starts at:

*Off-Season rate: $175.00 per night plus 12.5% tax.

*Summer Season rate: $200.00 per night plus 12.5% tax.

*Peak Rate : $225.00 per night plus 12.5% tax.

*Special Holidays and Events : $245.00 per night plus 12.5% tax.

A one-time cleaning fee of $75 applies to every rental.

Rates are per night for double occupancy or family with kids. Extra adults will be charged $35 per night if allowed on a case-by-case basis. We try to limit each of our cottages to 2 adults, or 2 adults with 2 to 6 children, depending on the cottage, for the serenity of all our guests. We consider anyone 21 years of age or older as adults so the extra adult fee would apply; children under 21 years of age are free.
 
We have a minimum of 5 nights/4 days booking, although we accept 3 to 4 night stays, if available between bookings. Please contact us for availability.
 

All cottages are non-smoking inside, but guests can smoke outside the cottages or at the Tiki Hut. Please read the Terms and Conditions on the Request to Book for more information.

Booking Deposit:

When we receive your request to book and send a confirmation, a deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required to guarantee your reservation and due within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation. The deposit will be applied toward the total payment for your cottage. The balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival date and the credit card on file will automatically be charged on that day. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the confirmation is void.

We accept all major credit/debit cards, Discover, Mastercard, VISA, and American Express. PLEASE NOTE: We no longer accept checks.

If the reservation is made within the 45 day deadline, payment in full is due via credit card within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation. If the payment is not made, the confirmation is void.

On case to case basis, we allow wire transfers. If requested, the banking info will be sent to your email. Once we receive your deposit, we will email a a confirmation email with driving directions attached. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival and the credit card on file will automatically be charged on that day.

Dog Policy:

We are a dog friendly resort and have reserved three very nice cottages for guests with dogs.

We will provide a dog policy that must be completed and signed prior to arrival.

There is a limit of one dog, or two small dogs, per cottage, and the total weight must not exceed 50 lbs.

Dogs are the only pets we allow.

NOTE:  Dogs are not allowed on any sailboats. However, they are allowed on the kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes.  Thank you for understanding.

In consideration for the next guests, we do a complete tear down, remove and replace, cleaning process of the cottage after each guest with a dog. Therefore, we charge an additional fee of $35 per night per dog plus tax. Payment for any damages caused by the dog will be the responsibility of the person who reserved the cottage.

IMPORTANT: If you arrive with a dog on check in day for a cottage that is not dog friendly, we will see if we have a dog-friendly cottage available. If one is available, the dog fee plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file, or you may pay with cash, and you will be given a dog policy to sign. If we do not have one available, one option would be to board the dog in one of the pet motels in Key Largo at your expense. Another option would be to find another place that allows dogs; however, you will not get a refund for the cottage.

It is a crime under Florida law  to represent a dog as a service animal if it is, in fact, not a trained service animal. Emotional support animals are not service animals and are not covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Sailboat Policy:

For stays of three or more nights, we assign a 22′ sailboat to our qualified sailing guests the morning after arrival at the 9: am boat orientation under the Tiki Hut.
 
On occasion, we have received requests to have a boat assigned prior to the 3 pm designated check in. Due to COVID, we are unable to grant these requests until further notice. Thank you for understanding.
 

Please note the following.
The United States Coast Guard informally assigns the designation to boats with a total length of less than 33 feet (10 m) as a “small craft”.

The size of the boat is only part of what a person should consider when venturing out when Small Craft warnings are in effect. Weight, displacement and hull design are important factors and an even more important consideration is not only the craft, but the experience of the captain. All of our guest captains at Key Lime Lime Sailing Club are not equal in their sailing abilities, therefore we must observe the following no sail criteria based on our boats and our location.

We do not sail the 22′ Catalina’s when a Small Craft Exercise Caution/ Small Craft Advisories are in effect.

Small craft advisories are issued when sustained wind speeds of 20 kts for 2 hours or more are forecast.

Paul loves to sail, as well as being the owner of Key Lime Sailing Club & Cottages and we as the crew do our best to ensure that every guest gets to safely experience sailing on the Florida Bay / Everglades. But at times weather (and our insurance company) plays a part in our ability to safely let our guests off the dock and go sailing.

Cancellation Policy: (Please read before making a reservation)

We are not a large chain resort/hotel. We simply have a few cottages that are booked well in advance. Once we reserve a cottage for you, we may have to turn away others that inquire about the same dates. We have adopted the policies below to be fair to both our guests and our facility.
 
Cancellation/Reschedule Before the Deadline:  Amount paid, less a 15% processing fee plus the cost of one (1) night’s stay (plus tax); we must receive an email cancellation notice for your reservation, not a phone call.
 
Cancellation/Reschedule After the Deadline:  Amount paid, less a 15% processing fee plus the cost of one (1) night’s stay (plus tax), only if we can re-rent the cottage for all the dates of your reservation. If not re-rented, there is no refund.
 
Deadline to Reschedule:  We may have turned away others who inquired about the same dates; therefore, the same deadlines for cancellations apply. Please make sure the reschedule dates provided are correct as you only get one chance.
 
There will be NO refunds for early departures or late check-ins as we will not be able to re-rent the cottage on such short notice, or for any changes in number of nights/guests within the 45-day deadline. No exceptions.  Thank you for understanding.
 

Named Storms:

If a named storm forces the evacuation of Key Largo, you can opt for the amount paid refunded in full, or you can reschedule your vacation using the same payment. If you choose to reschedule, please make sure the dates you provide are correct as we can only do one reschedule.

All cancellations must be sent via email to keylimesailclub@aol.com.  Once we receive your timely cancellation, your refund will be processed and sent within 60 days of the cancellation request date. You must receive our acknowledgment of cancellation via email for your reservation to be confirmed canceled and the refund process to begin. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive your cancellation notice.
